Welcome to the PTFA section.
All Parents, Governors and Teachers are members of the Lady Modiford's PTFA. This organisation holds many events which enrich the life of the school, at the same time as raising significant amounts of money to provide additional facilities for the children. It welcomes new ideas and volunteers!
The PTA have raised money annually to help maintain the swimming pool, have bought picnic benches for the children to use in the playground, paid towards a new PE shed and equipment and provided monies towards exciting expeditions for the whole school. We even had a visit from the ice cream van where all the children received an ice cream or lolly. The PTA also paid for the Y6 children to put on a play at Theatre Royal Plymouth through the 'Playhouse Project'.
As a small school we rely on the support of all our parents/carers and friends to enhance the children's experience in school and we are most grateful for the help we receive.
