Whilst the building is closed, the school remains open to pupil admissions.  If you want to register your child for Lady Modiford’s, for the present time, the teaching will be at another St Christopher’s school, Meavy CE Primary, just 1.8 miles away from Lady Modiford’s. Like Lady Modiford's School, Meavy is a small, rural village school situated on the edge of Dartmoor. Meavy Church of England Primary School has a warm, family feel where all children and their families are welcomed and valued.

Led by an experienced and successful headteacher, Mrs Kate Gawadzyn, the school continues to thrive, achieving consistently strong academic outcomes. Following their most recent visit, Ofsted inspectors commented:
